Mantle Gorget

This is a very stable gorget that provides attachment points for arm and shoulder
harness. Shoulder and arm attachment is often a problem if a good quality arming
coat or gambeson is not worn, but using a strong gorget to balance the whole affair
is a viable alternative.

The gorget comes equipped with two large shoulder tabs for attaching arm harness with points, and holes for attachent of straps or loops to carry shoulder harness.

The gorget closes via two straps and buckles and a mushroom-and-keyhole arrangement.

It is also available with an optional plate throat reinforcement.
